REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments, cancellations, and refunds for services offered through the MAHA JOTHISH mobile application and website (“Platform”), operated by SAALYAV INFINITE PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of India and having its registered office at 103B, 1st Floor, Sri Ayyappa Nagar, 4th Main Road, 3rd Cross Street, Virugambakkam, Chennai – 600092, Tamil Nadu, India. By purchasing any service on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy.

MAHA JOTHISH provides digital astrology consultation services, including live call sessions, chat consultations, and astrology reports. Due to the instant, personalized, and digital nature of these services, they are considered consumed once initiated or delivered. Accordingly, all payments made on the Platform are non-refundable once a service has been initiated. A service shall be deemed to have been initiated once a call or chat session is successfully connected with an astrologer or when an astrology report has been generated and delivered to the User.

Astrology services provided on the Platform are interpretative in nature and are intended for guidance, spiritual, and informational purposes only. Outcomes are not guaranteed, and dissatisfaction with predictions or advice shall not be considered a valid reason for refund.

Users may cancel a scheduled consultation session up to two (2) hours prior to the scheduled start time, in which case the amount paid may be credited back to the User’s wallet on the Platform or refunded to the original payment method, at the discretion of MAHA JOTHISH, unless otherwise required under applicable law. If a cancellation is made within two hours of the scheduled session, or after the scheduled time has begun, cancellation charges may apply and the amount may not be refunded.

If a User fails to join a scheduled session within ten (10) minutes of the scheduled start time, the session shall be treated as a “no-show,” and the full session amount may be deducted without eligibility for refund or rescheduling. However, the Platform may, at its sole discretion, exercised in a fair and reasonable manner, allow a one-time rescheduling in exceptional circumstances.

Refund requests must be raised within forty-eight (48) hours of the transaction or scheduled session. Refunds shall only be considered under limited circumstances, specifically where the payment has been successfully deducted but the service has not been initiated due to a technical error attributable to the Platform, or where the assigned astrologer fails to join the session and no alternative arrangement is provided within a reasonable time (typically within 15 minutes). In such cases, MAHA JOTHISH reserves the right to determine the mode of refund, which may be processed either as wallet credit or to the original payment method, at its sole discretion, exercised in a fair and reasonable manner.

No refunds shall be provided in cases where incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information has been provided by the User, including but not limited to incorrect birth details or personal information required for the provision of astrology services. No refunds shall also be provided for reasons including dissatisfaction with the consultation, disagreement with the astrologer’s advice, or early termination of the session by the User.

The Platform may provide wallet credits for use of services, whether through purchases, refunds, or promotional offers. Such wallet credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value, unless otherwise required under applicable law, and must be used solely for availing services on the Platform.

All payments on the Platform are processed through third-party payment gateways such as CCAvenue and PayPal. MAHA JOTHISH shall not be responsible for any delays, failures, or errors caused by such payment service providers. Users are advised to contact their respective payment provider or bank in case of transaction-related issues.

Approved refunds, if any, may take between five (5) to ten (10) business days to be processed, depending on the payment method and banking timelines. MAHA JOTHISH shall not be liable for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, or other financial institutions.

All decisions regarding refunds, cancellations, and disputes shall be at the sole discretion of SAALYAV INFINITE PRIVATE LIMITED, exercised in a fair and reasonable manner. In case of any concerns or disputes, Users may contact the support team or raise a grievance in accordance with the Terms and Conditions available on the Platform. Users may also refer to the Privacy Policy for related provisions on data handling and user rights.
